May I import other objects/avatars into my 3D Homepage?

Yes, you may use your own object path. However, if you use the 3D Homepage creator to rebuild your world at any time, your changes will be lost. Using your own object path will result in losing some of the 3D Homepage features (i.e. Object compiler).

If I change the theme of my world, will my changes also be reflected or will they be lost?

Some changes will be carried from one theme to the next.

Is there a way that I can easily upload additional pictures to be used within my 3D Homepage without using the 3D Homepage creator tool?

Yes, there are picupload enabled objects throughout your 3D Homepage that you simply click on to upload additional pictures.

Can I make my existing world into a 3D Homepage?

No. 3D Homepages and worlds are 2 separate products and not transferable.

Upon creating my 3D Homepage, I was launched into another location other than my 3D Homepage. How do I locate my 3D Homepage?

Your 3D Homepage should now be listed on the WORLDS tab list located on the left hand side of your Active Worlds browser. If you do not see the tabs, click on the ADVANCED button and that will enable the tabs. Click on the WORLDS tab, scroll down until you see the name of your 3D Homepage and click on it. You may also use the link in the email that was sent to you when you created your 3D Homepage.

What are special avatars on the list?

These are place holders for future 3D Homepage avatars.

If my 3D Homepage expires do I lose everything I created?

Yes, after 30 days the 3D Homepage files will be deleted from our servers.

How do I buy my 3D Homepage for 6 or 12 months in order to receive the discounts?

You can take advantage of the 3-6% discounts by paying for 6-12 months at a time. In order to do this, you will need to either call (978) 499-0222 or send a personal US check or international money order to:

If I cancel my Activeworlds citizenship does it automatically cancel my 3D Homepage?

No they must be cancelled individually.

How do I cancel my 3D Homepage?

In order to cancel your 3D Homepage please email info@activeworlds.com with the subject line "Cancel my 3D Homepage.", be sure to include your citizen name and password as well as your 3D Homepage name.
