NOTE: Right now we're still working on the process for how users will add their personal avatars to the universe and what our requirements will be. Right now this feature is only available to the developers. Watch the 4.1 beta notes for more information on this, and to find out when this feature will be opened up to beta testers.

New in version 4.1 is the ability to have an avatar you can take with you to almost any world. There is a new universe-level avatar path, from which avatars and their support files (textues, sequences, and animation info) may be downloaded. This avatar is unique to you, and cannot be used by others. To switch to your custom avatar, simply select "My Avatar" from the list. If you do not have a personal avatar, or if they are not allowed in your current world, this option will be disabled.

World owners may block personal avatars, since they may look out-of-place in themed worlds. If your personal avatar isn't available, you'll have to select an avatar from the standard list.
