Mobile phone call: "......This is reporter Ben Edwards number
24665-B-12... patch me through to the editor please"
"Hello Ben please hold on." replied the young woman on the other end.
*Sigh*
Well I'm at the party near lapis rock, cant believe after all these
years I'm still stuck doing these stupid publicity stunts. I want to be
reporting real stories, something with adventure and suspense, something that.......
Editor "Hello Ben"
"Hello sir, I'm at the party, it is everything I expected it to be, just
a bunch of loners looking for a date, yes that includes the politicians"
Editor "Ben, I get it OK, you don't like this job but someone has to do
it and all the other reporters are away on assignments, and no it is not
because I think your a bad reporter, just think of this as a break from
your normal column."
"OK, well I'll get back to it I guess then I'll call you in two days
once the party is over, let you know what I got"
*Click*
While I'm here I might as well get some interviews done, the editor
will tolerate a lot but if I have nothing by Monday I wont have a job to
go back too.

Editor "Hey Ben"
"Well I got three interviews, should be enough to write up something
with, mainly gossip and drunken mumbo jumbo"
Editor "Good good, I guess everyone has left now so I'll expect you back
here tomorrow right?"
*sounds of a vehicle in the distance*
"You don't need to tell me twice, I'll be come back wh.........hey get
your hands off me.(muffled) Mmmmm mmaa mmmm mm"
Editor "Ben......Ben are you there...........Ben this isn't funny.........."
*A crackle sound before the phone hangs up left with only silence.*

Last heard at 14:22 by Ralf Thomson during a mobile phone conversation,
audio witness describes "a struggle" just before loss of contact, last
reported position of subject 10 miles south of Brentwood canyon, local
name of lapis rock.
