It's nearly that time of year again! The 2007 Support AW Awards are scheduled for Saturday, April 28th. We are working daily to prepare the venue and finish all of the behind-the-scenes tasks that need completing!
Thanks to everyone who sent in nominations! We received about 70 nominee suggestions from the community. They are being compiled and will be combined with any council nominations.
—What are the Support AW Awards?
The "SAW" Awards are an awards ceremony containing a limited number of categories recognizing many areas of AW-related creative excellence.
The Support AW Awards winners are chosen by a council rather than through public voting. The council consists of less than one-dozen members. The members come from a diverse variety of groups and talents in AW.
We pride ourselves on our innovative concepts, modern venues, reasonable event lengths, and our young, refreshing identity.
—The Ceremony:
The awards are scheduled to take place on April 28th at 12AM VRT. US time zones will find this to be a later time - hopefully you all have time for dinner before the event!
Accordingly, the world will have a night time atmosphere. We will also be making use of newer AW technology to put on the show.
