Just in time for those newbies and those who have just not heard of the Cy Awards yet! The Cy Awards Seminars are a 30 minute speech given by a few people and 15 minutes for questions. We will have some fun in the ball room after for not too long. We will address the history of the Cy Awards, the ceremony, the tours, how to get a cy award, and the rules (yes... boring part). Even if your not a newbie and you have gone to every Cy Awards ceremony, you may not know everything :) The Cy Awards seminar's will happen January, April, July, and October, on the second saturday of that month at 7:00PM (VRT!) :) That means that, July 14th 7:00PM VRT, will be the first Cy Awards Seminars. Please show up!

Dear Activeworlds Community,

Well, we beat yet another record for nominations and voting!:) We received in approximately 320 votes. If you multiply that times the average number of categories we have that would come to approximately 4,160 total votes....woooo hoooo! Thank you to all that participated! :)

Winners will not be announced in advance. So Nominees, you might want to be prepared with an acceptance speech for the August 18th Ceremony:) Congratulations to all the Nominees for thier nominations and good luck to all of you!:)

Please mark on your calendars Saturday August 11th 9pm VRT, to attend the Cy Nominees Ball in the Cy Ballroom. At this event you will have the opportunity to congratulate the Nominees and meet them ! We will also be furnishing the finest cuisine and entertainment:) Be sure to bring a date as we will have dancing also!

Also, please to put on that calendar Saturday August 18th 9pm VRT The Cy Ceremony!!!!!! At both events we will be furnishing formal dresses for the ladies and Tuxedos for the gentlemen:) We have yet to find enough chaffeurs and Limos...sorry:) Psssst....guys....you might want to remember that corsage for your special lady:)
