Get to Know Your Neighbors!

We think it would be great if everyone got a chance to get to know some of the volunteers in the community, and to find out why they love AW so much.

This month we meet bLue.z who was recently recognized as October's GK of the Month. In addition, we have a special note from one of our Gate Keeper volunteers Capaboo, who would like to pass along, "...a short note thanking everyone for all the continued goodwishes for my recovery. I am feeling much stronger now and look forward to seeing everyone online. Thank you."

Hi! Didn't think I'd be making my appearance in this Newsletter, so I guess I better put on my rusted halo 0>:o)

I first heard about Active Worlds from a friend in Yahoo! Games. That was more than 2 years ago.., and thanks to a good friend who gave me this citizenship, I've managed to really enjoy this program in every possible way and fully utilized my spare time to bug my friends in AW.

Being a self-proclaimed observant, I was amazed by the GateKeepers' ability to repeat the exact same words of some sentences which kept appearing in bold (I later learned that those are some silly macro's). But it was the GK's assistance, patience, and efforts to help the users (especially during the grand opening of Juno Dome) which prompted me to join the community. On second thought.., nah! I joined 'cause I wanted to show off to the ladies. So thanks for the Award! It certainly makes my job easier!!! :oP

Living in Southeast Asia, I'm always curious to learn about the different cultures in different countries, and I get the opportunity to do so through AW. It's truly an impressive program and addictive too! So even if my account expires one day, I'll still come back as a lil tourist and be a cheeky bugger as usual *flashes his most charming smile and takes a bow*
