The problem with the non-scrolling chat box is related to a Windows update. Have you updated Outlook as of late? Do a find for the file riched32.dll or riched20.dll and get the properties of the file. If you need help doing this please email suport@activeworlds.com with a description of your problem and include the date and properties of the file.

Usually, updating this file to the most recent version will fix this problem.
