Right Click on "My Computer" and in the popup menu select "Properties", then in the next window select the tab that says "Device manager". Click the plus sign in front of "Sound, Video and Game controllers".
Double click on the "Master Riptide PCI Audio Device", then click the tab that says "Direct Sound". Unselect "Riptide Direct Sound Support Enabled" and click "OK". Click "OK" again to close the window.

The Riptide video card is increasingly working very poorly with our software, as they do not update its drivers any longer.
