AWUniversity Summer Building Contest

Want to show off your AW 4.1 building skills? Now is your chance!! AWUniversity will be holding another annual Summer Building Contest, starting on July 25th, complete with V4 objects enabled to expand contestants creativity!! Applications for the contest will be open starting on July 15th for those who are interested.

This summer's contest theme will be: World Landmarks (Build anything from structures, famous buildings, stadiums, museums, sculptures and so on) The only limitation is that it MUST be a documented world landmark!

Contest plots will be 6x6 H Scale (6 walk001.rwx X 6 walk001h.rwx) and the world cell space will be set to MEGA for all users!! Be creative this summer with few limitations!! All contestants must, however keep in mind that despite the enabling of V4 objects and large cell space, that there will be rules involved to ensure that the contest is fair and that no one is upset. The rules page can be found at http://www.awcommunity.org/awu/awunivab/abrules.htm (All users will need to agree to these rules upon applying for the contest come July 15th).

But what about the prizes?! The prizes that will be offered this summer for the winners are as follows:

•1st place - 6 month citizenship extension
•2nd place - 3 month citizenship extension
•3rd place - a my.activeworlds.com email address

(Prizes are not exchangeable for a product of equal value)


For those who are unfamiliar with our contest schedule, here is how the contest will be running:

July 15th - Applications start being accepted until July 25.
July 25th - Applications stop / contest begins
August 15th - Contest building ends/ building rights disabled / contest judging begins
August 20th - Judges make final decisions / winners announced
