INTERSCULPT 2007

DAAP is hosting a site for two digital sculpture programs together this fall, for Intersculpt 2007. This is the sixth DAAP collaboration in the biennial series, in conjunction with Intersculpt and Ars Mathematica. Both programs are open for applicants now, and 3D modelers in AW are invited to participate in both or either.

INTERSCULPT

The themes for the programs are "Sculpture and Mathematics." and "Sculpture and Biomorphism." (Click titles to visit sites)

Each web site contains the current state of their program information, and developing lists of artists submissions.

DAAP will develop an exhibition site for participants in the Intersculpt 2007 programs, converting as many models as possible for inclusion on line, scheduled to open on October 10th in conjunction with the digital sculpture programs in France. Artists particularly interested in being included in the on line exhibition should email me directly a zipped 3ds file of their submission(s) along with jpg images of related textures, limited to 3 megs per object please, to derrick.woodham@uc.edu
Please email me with any questions you have on the plans for DAAP.

The Intersculpt home page, at http://www.pimkey.com/%7Einterscu/ provides background on the organization, its affiliates, links, and supporting artists. The DAAP home page, at http://derrickwoodham.net/dwoodham/daap2.htm contains links to the earlier on line Intersculpt exhibitions.

Visit DAAP to see the kind of sculpture that has been installed for earlier shows.
