Caring's Atlantis Recommendation

Something new in Red Valley Rift at 862S 22.5W 270. It's call "Red Sorceress' Sound Archive". It's a place with a collection of MIDI. songs and sound effects to share with everybody in Active Worlds. Though a pleasant place, it isn't exceptional large, so it shouldn't take long to explore. Enjoy the Journey.

Sherwood - AW 24905.4n 4909.5w 0.1a

Named after the forest of Robin Hood fame, this is a town with a definite English theme, complete with cobblestone walks and Old English store fronts. Be sure to check out the town square, with stores aplenty and a giant cathedral at the south end. So check out a little slice of jolly ol' England today at Sherwood!

Daphne's Historical Recommendation

This month's "Hot Spot" from AWHS is Necropolis, built by Moria in January and February of 1996. It's located in Alpha world at 8183.2N 57.3W 0.3a 45.

Necropolis is a beautifully laid out, landscaped city and built by a man that became so good at building and creating a nice ambience that CoF (later to become AW Inc.) hired him to build worlds for their commercial customers!

This is a very nice site to look around and the overhead glass hallways allow you to walk all over the central town area and see it without running into walls.

You can find some teleports to the Necropolis Underground Rapid Transit and they will take you to an underground station, but be ready. It's evidently a feature of the city that Moria never completed so the 2 bump warps that are down there will simply move you back and forth, so when you when you're ready to go....teleport! :o)

Come see Necropolis and enjoy one of AW's master builder's early works. :o)

Midnight Bay - 333S 443E facing N

The area built by this AW citizen is so vast, that it will take you a few days to go through it all. A truely amazing and imaginative place.
Built by Canopus, it boasts the largest city in Meta. It's good to see I finally have a rival : )

Surrounded by an ocean on one side (that spashes when you jump in), you'll also find well built mountains, waterfalls, a castle, city, underwater ruins and so many other things, I cannot remember. Take your time to wander around. I think this is the coolest spot I've yet to find in Meta. If you have your midis turned on, you will listen to U2 and Bob Marley music while wandering about. I personally appreciated the choice of tunes there. Nothing worse than annoying midis : ) In sort, this build is a shining example of imagination and talent, given the limited materials in Meta. A MUST see. If the buildings were a more interactive, it would be perfect. Cheers!

Other places within this build that you dont want to miss:
Seadome - 300S 438E facing N - Just take the elevator down and follow the signs and instructions.
Midnight Bay Boat Harbor - 337S 425E facing W - A nice view. Just walk up the barrier and look.
Periso Alto Falls - 338S 489E facing W - Hike up and explore.
I won't give you everything. You have to explore and find them on your own : )

***REMINDER - Metazins, PLEASE tgram me coords to builds you think would be up for future recommends. I'll HUGELY appreciate it : )
Thanks........
