 An
excess of 40 users stopped by Maya, Saturday, April the
29th to get a seat at Support AW's 1st Annual Awards ceremony.
What are the Support AW Awards? They're
a new type of AW awards in which winners are chosen by
a council rather than the public. You can learn more on
the page link at the end of this article.
You may have missed our Saturday ceremony, which is understandable.
While Support AW had wished to create an awards ceremony
for some time, we only conceived of the integrated Support
AW Awards two weeks before the AWNews and Support AW Anniversary,
leaving little time for promotion.
It was certainly enough time to gather a fantastic bunch
of nominees and a full audience, though.
At about 25 minutes of AWNews Trivia and an hour long
awards ceremony, it was one of the most efficient awards
shows in AW yet.
We would like to thank everyone who attended
and congratulate all of the fantastic winners!

This year an independent web page will be developed for
the SAW Awards, along with numerous improvements to the
ceremony itself.
We look forward to the 2nd Annual Support AW Awards,
