AWUniversity Offers New Courses - Community Building!

For years, AWUniversity has offered many advanced courses for the enterprising citizen or tourist who wants to get the most out of AW. Now, AWU, with the help of the Universal Town Network, has opened up a brand new department for everyone interested in helping to make a better community - Community Building courses! These courses allow students to learn from the experts about ways to help the community grow and prosper in a variety of ways. Here's a sampling of what is offered in this brand new department:

  • Advertising - Learn about different advertising venues in the AW Universe and how to advertise effectively
  • Owning & Managing a World - Covers setting up your world server and how to create things like a registry and an object path
  • Building a GZ - Tips & tricks for making an efficient and beautiful GZ for your town or world
  • Event Coordination - Learn what goes into creating and managing a successful and fun event
  • Starting a Town - Learn everything you need to know about starting a town, including lot layout, theme design, and maintenance, courtesy of the UTN Town Consultants
  • Starting an Organization - Tips on how to start up your own organization and how to keep it successful and growing

And there will be more to come! You'll find the Community Building campus at AWUniv 25n 4w, complete with classrooms and lecture halls!
Once details are finalised you will find them on http://www.awcommunity.org/awu/teach.htm, until then contact Goober King for particulars.
