Community service is the act of volunteering for your community. Those who volunteer at soup kitchens, planting trees, at a animal shelter or nursing home are but a few real world examples. Active Worlds is a community is filled with interesting and talented people. New people come old people go but the community persists. There are many ways to serve this community and among those are the AW Guides, AW School, The Gatekeepers and The Peacekeepers.

Contrary to popular belief The Peacekeepers is not an organization that deals exclusively in ejecting people. Ejecting a person is the last thing any Peacekeeper wants to do. The vast majority of the time a Peacekeeper is spent patrolling and looking for opportunities to help users. Every single Peacekeeper is a trained professional volunteer completely dedicated to the service of our community. All of them are extremely knowledgeable about the features in Active Worlds and if they don't know the answer to a question they know who does have the answer.

Everyone cannot be a Peacekeeper because it requires time and dedication to the cause. All Peacekeepers must complete Peacekeeper Academy. The details regarding that training are located at the Peacekeeper Recruiting Center:
